Then I leave for Australia.

Yup.. for any of you who don't know yet there is going to be a party on July 14. A going away party. So you all have to come if you can. T_T

Since people must be wondering where I have been the past few days I wil fill you in. (So feel special about it!)

Take-chan came in for another short visit. It was awesome! On Wednesday we just sort of chilled since it was late at night and I was really tired. (Ni-chan is no fun when she is tired. She is all rawr!) Then on Thursday we went to a theme park, Six Flags: Great America if you were curious at all. I wasn't really feeling all that good for that. I've been pretty sick lately and having to go to the doctor for various things so I was feeling sort of drained. I ended up skipping a few rides because my body just couldn't take it anymore. Then we went out with a few friends to dinner. That was cool.

Friday we were supposed to go down to Navy Pier but again I just wasn't feeling well and she is just so sweet.. we didn't end up going. Instead we stayed home. She actually made me a doll! It is one of my RP characters named Ame. Isn't he adorable! Oh side note we watched "Koi no Mon" greatest movie ever.

Then the last day was today. We really didn't have that much time to do anything eggciting. So we just sort of bummed around the house in the morning. Oh we went to the mall and then Culvers.... let me telly ou Culver's chicken sammich is amazing. <3 <3 <3

Oh one more thing.. She also got me a ring. It is an Irish Claddagh. Wow it was really nice, it even has a secret compartment inside it. ^_^ Well ... I guess I can put up another crappy picture of it.

Still being overly obsessive with Daft Punk lately. My brother showed me the "Technologic" and "Around the World" videos the other day and they are just so good! Plus this weekend I went to Fry's with Kevin and he knows about them too so @_@.. wow there was a bad combo. It was a lot of fun. I need to get more of their CDs and put them on my iPod before I go abroad. I don't know how long I can go without some  Robot Techno music.

Other than that it was an alright weekend. I saw Shrek the Third, but honestly I don't want to comment on it and then get a bunch of people all up in my face. So I will just say this.. It was terrible. Don't ask me questions terrible. Then to get all the terrible out of my head I had to watch a whole bunch of American Dad (since I got the second season). That show is amazing.

I have a lot to do this week so I will be busy! Only 2 weeks left of school until finals. @_@... luckily I only have to take 3 finals. So yay! <3 Hearts and flowers for everyone.

Yup! Today is Cornerstone Day. I think it has something to do with the school's birthday, but for me it means 1 thing... Free BBQ food. This is a day that I sort of look forward to especially since last year we ditched a bunch of classes to chill out and check out all the goings-on. So basically they put up a big tent outside and for a good part of the afternoon cook food.This time it is chicken, hamburgers.. all that good outside foods.

So Happy Birthday NNC (technically Old Main since 167 years ago they laid the cornerstone brick on it).. >_> Oh and Thanks for the food! It was Good Eats!

Today is my really long school day. Ew... I leave the house at 10:00 am and I don't get home till like 10:00 pm. That is 12 hours stuck at this silly campus.. and looking at the clock I've only been here for 2 hours..*cries* 2 hours I still have like 10 hours to go! But there is a bit of good news. During my afternoon break Cindy is coming downtown and we are going to go to Noodles! I can't wait for my Wisconsin Mac & Cheese with Parmesan Chicken and a Rustic Roll.. Oh no I'm hungry now. And I still have 5 hours to go!

Well usually I sort of stick around during my first break, but seeing as no one is online to talk to I might just go find a couch and play some Pokemon or Puzzle Quest. .. I do have my phone I could always call someone and be that annoying chatty person.. Who knows.

Oh yeah other bit of blah.. I for serious thought that Dennis and I were going to hang out this week, but now I find out he is going to hang out with Dan instead. *pouts* .. Plus Dennis and Dan are leaving the guild I am in on WoW for their own guild.. so I hope they invite me or I'm going to feel really left out. This is really sort of sad.. they even ran an instant last night without me. Pfft.. I'm glad it wasn't a very good one.

This weekend was interesting and so full of activity. Which I didn't really enjoy considering my weekends are times to relax and sort of unwind after the week of school and BS.

On Saturday, my big brother graduated from college! This is like a majorly big event since he will be the first person in the Hickey family (shush.. don't make fun of my mom's last night) to graduate ever. So lots of people flew up here or drove her from all over the US to celebrate the event. It is really nice except for some reason I got stuck watching a bunch of little cousins on a train.. ...I'm never having kids ever! I can't stand them.

Then Sunday rolled around and we had to have a party for him. Again all the relatives all day and once again I'm very popular with the younger cousins. Hehe... no! So that was a long day.

But overall it makes me realize that I will be graduating too in less than a year. So wow that is amazing I'm almost done with college. I'm almost an adult. Like a real one that has to work.

So I haven't been feeling well at all lately. I've been feeling sort of shitty (physically not emotionally) since last or the one before Sunday? Whenever it was that Dennis and I went to go see Hot Fuzz (which is a fabulous movie by the way. I recommend it with 4/5 stars from me). But yeah every since that day I've been feeling like I've been falling apart. My mom made me clean my room on Saturday and Sunday. She made me do like the total clean so my back and feet are aching. Then even worse than that.. I haven't had my period in like 5-6 weeks. O_O


But other than that I have been playing Pokemon. Which the new one is surprisingly fun. (Yeah I saw Ta-chan's post and she feels left out because of us Pokemon players, but I can't help it I'm a gamer girl <3) It seems I'm further than most of my friends are in the game that just shows off my uber 1337 skills. Not really though... And since I've been playing Pokemon I've been neglecting WoW. So I have to pop back on I'm really close to my 45th level. Whoot! <3

Hmm... right now I'm actually in the library between my classes. I'm pretty bored.. maybe I will go and play Pokemon. Yeah I will probably do that. *nod nod*

On a complete side note! I got my tickets to Australia I should be leaving here July 18th? and arriving in Australia on the 20th! Then I wont be back for a long long long time.

I turned in my Australian application. So you know what that means? All I need now it is a ticket and then in a few months... Bye Bye U.S! Hello Australia!

I'm really eggcited too. (Excited.. I can spell it but I like puns.. fyi my favorite puns are eggcited, Inkcredible, absmazing and pecktacular. If you saw the movie 300, isn't it pecktacular?) I like all the classes I put down for my choices. They sound so much cooler than the classes I can take here. I sort of wish I was going for a year, but I sort of need to come back and finish my degree huh?

Well really short update since I am at school and today is my late day. ^_^;;.. I hate late days I don't get home until like 10 at night if I'm lucky. Tonight there is an exam so I hope it will go quickly and I can be home before 9:30 to play a little WoW.

Today is my last day of work. It is suprisingly more depressing than I thought it would be. I knew I would feel sad about it, but not this sad. It is just hard to have to say goodbye to everyone especially when everyone thinks you are happy to go since well.. no more work is usually a good thing. 

Sometime today or tomorrow I'm going to have to pick my classes for Australia. Oh.. I have no idea what I am going to take honestly. I also need to plan my schedule for when I get back to NCC. 

That reminds me.. I have a Summer Programs Teacher Lunch to attend on the 19th. ^_^ That should be fun. Then afterwards I'm going to have to start actually planning out the course. Anyone who lives around here want to help out? I need artists, manga fans, anime fans, really any sort of Otaku will do.

Well yeah.. as of next Tuesday I am officially unemployed. I'm really going to miss that job, not just a little bit but a lot. I really liked my co-workers and the job overall wasn't that stressful. But I guess that is just how it is when you work through a temp agency. At least it wasn't because of me. So I wont be feeling to bad about being let go, rather just sad about having to go. No I would not stay to work for free.

Other than that.. lots of cruddy news this week. My parents are going to be having some relatives come in for Dan's Graduation. Eggciting ne? Not really if any of you have been to my house then this will make sense. They are trying to let 3 other families stay with us. Total this is going to be like 9 extra people.. Now lets do the math.. my family = 4 + Dan's GF who is always here that is 5.. + 9 new people is 14 divide that by the number of bedrooms 4.. You get like.. 3.5 repeating. So yeah you can get the drift it is going to be crowded. My parents want to give away my room.. but uh.. if you know about the things hidden in my room and the amount of posters and yaoi art on my walls.. That would not be a good idea. They want me to shack up with them and my brother.. Gross!!! Gross!!! I could not imagine spending weeks in the same room as my parents, my brother and his gf.. GROSS! Just shoot me now.

I hope they realize how ridiculous that is and the fact we have so much family here that people can go stay elsewhere. Hotels aren't that expensive! And my closest relative is only 10 minutes away.. the farthest about an hour.. so go stay with them too. 1 extra family per household please.

I should probably end with some good news.. uh... I can't think of any after Yanique showed me that youtube video this morning. It just fills my hear with hate and angry.. Thanks Yan Yan. XD

World of Warcraft has stolen my soul and taken me away from everything else. Like this journal. But hey when I come to school I am able to escape its grasp if only for an hour or two so hey.. We all knew I am a total nerdy hardcore gamer. So people who didn't see this coming were just fooling themselves.

For any other nerdy hardcore gamers that I might have friended on this thingie. If you have WoW and want to play together just tell me what sever you are on and maybe I will consider making one on it. Right now I'm on Haomarush and I'm a level 23 Hunter Tauren. PST to Pandorath.

I'm so bored out of my mind! My third class of the day got canceled. Honestly most people would be happy but I still have class after that so it just leaves me with time where I have absolutely nothing to do. I swear I can slowly feel my brain starting to melt from lack of stimulation. Luckily I have found this computer in the library to entertain myself for the next few minutes, then it will be off to a hopefully amusing lecture on Greek Mythology.  Today is about Jason and the Argonauts. I read this stuff in high school and you know what it hasn't changed. So I really don't do much of the reading.

Uh uh uh! What else.. today I have to go out and buy a Valentines day gift. *nod nod* I still have no idea what to buy and it is driving me insane! >_< People don't offer any help either they just sort of look at you and smile ... then they say the thing that drives my batty-bokers, "Anything is fine really." That isn't true! Anything isn't fine! I know for a fact anything isn't fine. No on wants like.. a roasted chicken or anything weird like that. People are expecting thoughtful cards, flowers and/or candy. And if they aren't expecting that they are expecting something that holds so much significant meaning..

Just watch.. Valentines will come and go and I will still be fretting over this .

Yesterday I turned in my application to the study abroad department and so if everything goes well then at the end of July, I will be leaving the U.S. for Australia.

I just sort of realized I'm going to be away then. Very far away from all my friends and family for 19 weeks. Thinking about it now that seems like a long time to be without everyone. But still I'm determined to do it! I want to get out of this country at least once while I'm in college and this is the best way to do it.

... still makes me a little sad and nervous. Wish me luck! Hope I get accepted!
